He has no father in his life, no car for him or his mom, his mother has, “issues”, he has no decent clothes, no Internet in his trailer, and no reliable source of nutritious food in the house. Especially, late in the month.

I told him if you wants excuses he has many. He can live in a trailer for the rest of his life and blame someone else. Or he can work harder than all of his friends, do more than all of his friends, and be somebody.

He chose to be somebody.
