Will be interesting to see if she ever does anything there. Tulsa is a good mid major that usually makes the tournament and is competitive against good teams. This year they took down Arkansas easily in the Stillwater regional, and played eventual WCWS participant Ok State tough in 2 very close losses. They could easily have won that regional. They lose their best hitter but return their 2 best pitchers in 2020. I expect they will make the NCAAs again next year.
Have no idea whether Ellison will be an important part of that team, she was MIA here for her first 2 seasons, getting only 4 at bats as a freshman and just 5 as a sophomore, could not break into the line up here or get any playing time. Based on that I don’t have any handle on whether she can be a good D1 player or not.
Wish her well though. She was never going to get playing time here.
