Even at full health and in great physical condition (ha) Conrad was not going to ever pitch in any serious game at OU this year. The difference in talent between her and the top 3 pitchers there (Juarez, Saile, and Lopez) is as wide as the Grand Canyon.

She just isn’t very good.

I think she pitched a few innings here and there in mop up time when there was no chance of them losing. Too lazy to look it up now. The OU website has zero stats on it, and the Big 12 softball website has no team details on it.

Conrad decided she would rather be a dugout cheerleader her entire career at OU rather than actually having a college pitching career at a school that better fit her actual talent.

I think it was a good choice by her. As Harry Callahan said, a person needs to know their limitations. Or something like that.
