Gabe has become an oversensitive, liberal fvck, and he's just not that smart.
Fiji did the exact proper thing in this case.
Yes, had it been an article restricted to paying subscribers, then Fiji should not have cut and pasted it.
BUT, considering it was a free article, Fiji did exactly what he should have done and what Gabe should have wanted him to do. He shared the story, he provided the proper link, he did not take any credit for it or try to claim it as his own.
When pay sites offer free stories, they do it for one reason, and that is to try to entice people to their site in hopes that they are then intrigued enough to sign up and start paying. By sharing the article and the link, all Fiji did was drive more traffic to Gabe's site. Granted, there are probably not many on Tigerbored that aren't familiar with PowerMizzou, but many aren't subscribers and you never know when somebody might be convinced to make the leap. Fiji actually did Gabe a favor in this instance, but Gabe's to dumb and holier than thou to even realize it.
Gabe is hell bent on pushing his agenda that the media is the victim in our society and completely refuses to consider that the media is the problem. His arguments that a guy who operates a fan site is neuetral and impartial, and therefore does not care about Mizzou, as if he were writing for the USAToday are completely disingenuous.
A lot of you don't like Gabe because you think he's always wrong on covering/predicting stuff for Mizzou. That's fine. But the bigger reason to not like him is his stupidity (current issue as example) and his effed up political lean on all things relating to media and sports.
