No, I was comparing the set up of conference challenges. I said it was embarrassing that Illinois got paired with DePaul.l because that meant that Illinois was down.

Bill Self has no say. That was my point.

And you do realize that Missouri is as much a nonentity as Illinois? You’ve still lost 5 of the 6 to Illinois. Missouri is nothing special right now either. They would not be matched with Kansas because of the mismatch, not because Bill Self says anything. They will match Kansas with a similar team. That’s how these work.

I look forward to the day when Illinois and Missouri are a great relevant national matchup like it was for many years.
