different than your typical walk on situation is up to you. But just to humor you, I will explain it one more fvcking time.
Parker Braun is in no way, shape, or form in the same class as the walkons that have been mentioned or you are thinking about. Brett Rau and Chip Walther had no other options at a major school. Their choice was either walkon at Mizzou or play for a scholarship at a D2 school, or maybe a MoValley (at best) school in Chip's case.
Braun was given a drastically different choice.
Accept a scholarship at Illinois or other schools.
Accept a scholarship at ArifvckingZona or Mizzou, but wait a year to get it. His family was able and willing to pay his way for a year, so he choose option 2.
In college football, they have what is called a Grayshirt. What Parker Braun did could be roughly equated to grayshirting except he could practice.
In no way was Parker Braun given a leftover scholarship. Ronnie Suggs was given a leftover scholarship. Braun was not.
When he is a sophomore, as is the case in the illustration painted by wutang, he'll be on scholarship for 2 years. Walkons don't bumblefvck their way into 2 years worth on scholarships.
And yes, I fully recognize that you will continue to choose to be wrong.
