Hockey starts WAY too early

I follow for a week....a bit around New Years with the outdoor games, and then back after the Super Bowl...by far the best playoffs in sports..as much as I crap on soccer, if they moved to sudden death in the World Cup elimination round, it would actually compete...but they get too tired, and they are to much of traditionalists.

The NHL woke up after the big strike and the new rules very much improved play and the product.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
