In reality it shouldn't be like this. The committee should take the best teams. This would be similar to a basketball team being projected as a #6 seed and then not making it after 1 bad week. Doesn't make sense. Mizzou is better than half of the teams being considered for at large bids. I can guarantee you a #1 seed would not want to see Mizzou in their region. Mizzou has the pitching to get to Omaha and the committee should look at the eye ball test at the end of the day.
