but I can remember folks wanting the Executive checked when we were taking military action without declaring a formal war. Wait, only CONGRESS can do that.....wailing and whining.

I stated a fact. Congress is going to be given a wide latitude. And there are times when the Executive Branch seeks to do too much in the name of Executive Privilege. That's not partisan or unique to this POTUS.
