Hung right with top 10 ranked, #10 national seed Texas, barely lost 3-2 in 8 innings.
Shows how deep and tough the SEC conference is, the Aggies are clearly the worst team in the conference and still gave a top 10 seed all they can handle. No other conference can come close to saying that, because, of course, the other four P5 conferences only sent 4-6 teams to the tourney in the first place. So no other conference is even close to the position the SEC is in, playing their 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th best teams in the NCAAs.
