And I know he wants manufacturing to come to the US, but the alternative to that would be a trade deal with a country that agrees to buy more from us than they currently are.

Trump can be criticized for whatever, and it’s mostly warranted, but we have been getting hosed on trade deals for decades. He is right about that.
