a long stretch of their franchise history has 2 titles to STL's 3.

That's awful close considering STL is #2 in WS titles and the Royals are a small market, relatively new franchise in a sport with a history 100+ years old.

Again, pretty clear evidence that STL has underachieved in my lifetime or the timeline since the Royals came into existence.
