But yes, they are similar in that they were skilled enough to get P5 offers all throughout their junior and senior seasons. I would classify a flier as a player who wasn't able to get the offers from major schools until those schools had completed exhausted all of their other recruiting options. Those schools had to fall back on a player who wasn't ready to play P5 ball but could possibly get good enough to play at that level.
