Keep in mind a lot of "top" coaches are paying recruits

I think it's highly unlikely that Coach Martin is paying recruits. Personally, I'd rather get some guys ranked in the 70-150 range who play hard and don't need a cash handout vs guys in the top 50 who need/want to be paid tens of thousands of dollars (or more).
Having said that, If Cuonzo can occasionally get a top 50 guy who isn't asking for a handout and wants to play for him, that will obviously help us, and Christopher is one who might fall into that category. I would think at least one of the upcoming top 50 recruits out of the StL classes in 2020 to 2022 will end up coming to MU, which is more than we can say for the past two decades.
