While I understand these differing helmet logo designs may be appealing to some, in my opinion they have a long term adverse effect on the “branding” of Missouri Tigers
primary logo with the MIZZOU wordmark.

A basic rule in branding is “Be consistent in your delivery. Effective branding thrives on consistency.”

The varying, different Missouri helmet logo designs violates this basic branding rule.

Amazon, Google, Apple, Coca-Cola, McDonalds and Ford and others don’t alter, manipulate or replace their logo.

Most of the college football powers understand the basic rules of branding, and do not have numerous, varying football helmet designs.

Every time there is a different helmet logo design, it’s at the expense of the long term branding of the Missouri Tigers
primary logo with the MIZZOU wordmark.
