I couldn't tell you what Amazon's logo is off hand- I'm sure I would recognize it, I buy stuff from them all the time.
Coke and Ford use variations of the same word over and over, and have standardized their colors, same idea with McDonalds and their arches. They all compete with fewer competitors than our football team does, and everyone knows these brands when they see them. We have no standard logo or colors. We don't even know what 'old gold' is anymore.
