I had a phd except around MDs just to **** them off.


Side story:

When I worked a JP Morgan we ran the the retirement plan for Bose. I guess Amar Bose would call in and the customer services people would greet him with "Mr. Bose" and he got so ****ed that they didn't address him as Dr. Bose he threatened to move the entire plan away from JP Morgan. They tried to add popups alerting the customer services people to not say Mr Bose but they kept making mistakes. Eventually they gave him a direct line to manager anytime he needed to call.


I always said that if I had to reach out to him I was going to call him Mr Bose. Never had to though.
