that they are presenting this narrative only in an attempt to keep folks from immediately jumping to the "Barr's summary makes it definitive" (even though it appears to be correct). They're trying to preserve the nuance political arguments, knowing that they're not going to change the legal landscape. Since Pelosi and Schumer are both safe, they're free to do that.
