He has a wide variety of post moves, and when focused very good footwork. Watch how he beat Tacko Fall when we beat UCF, he did what no Duke player was capable of doing, and score in a variety of ways around Fall.

JT's issues come from a still improving fitness, mentally letting go of habits from wrestling (he was committed to being a wrestler for many years before moving to basketball), and controlling his emotions.
