I was surprised to read the Anderson had the 2nd best record after Kentucky in the SEC for the last 5 years, both SEC record and overall record. Interestingly, in an online poll in the major newspaper for that area, of the 2000 plus votes almost half disagreed with the firing.
I have to say that although I wasn't happy with the way Anderson snuck out of Columbia, he probably deserved to be kept on in Arkansas.

Arkansas was one of the most successful Southeastern Conference programs during Anderson's tenure; over the past five seasons, only Kentucky had more overall or league wins than the Razorbacks. Anderson's teams were 120-68 overall and 53-39 against conference opponents since the beginning of the 2014-15 season, and twice finished runner-up to Kentucky at the SEC Tournament.
