It would return over time if you kept the same diet you used to have, correct? Basically certain bacteria feasts on certain types of food. For example (and I don't remember the bacteria names) Americans tend to be super high in the bacteria that feeds on red meat, while Italians have crazy levels of a bacteria that feeds on carbs and I think asians tend to have really good mix.
How long does the FMT last without a change in diet? If I had to do an FMT every 3 years but would not have UC issues and not have to change my diet I would be down.
