I’m not saying it should be the top requirement but since head to head outside the b10 is lacking, it should certainly play a part of the entire resume. And for the record, you can ask anyone in the room & if they choose to tell the truth, you’ll see the prior season has had an impact in current year’s seeds. Especially matchups at the NCAA-T.
Smith has made it known he’ll wrestle anybody anywhere. There’s little incentive for teams from the b10 to wrestle us. Even with the poor job that conference has done at matching up their best teams every year. They’ve seen what we’ve done in duals the past 5-6 years vs. Cornell, OKST, Iowa, OHST & others. We’ve been one of the best dual teams in the country over that time.
