concede that, based on your own standard, what team HRC did was also a crime. her campaign got intel from a foreign agent who got his (dis)information from Russians. Team HRC tried to hide their connection. remember hiding anything is a guilty action in your eyes. they also failed to disclose it properly in their FEC filings.
the reality is neither is illegal. both were slimy. however, going to a meeting and NOT getting anything of substance is a long way from actually getting a dodgy dossier of (dis)information from a foreign spy.
and what a classical liberal would be concerned with is that this paid for Russian (dis)information was used to spy on US citizens and has and is being used to try and oust a duly elected president.
