Berry of old. If they think he'll perform, then they won't cut him and will be able to get out of his contract next year with less of an impact. Biggest question is will he be able to perform to a $16.5 million level. Could you sign a guy with $10 million in freed up money that would produce at a higher level?

THAT is what the Chiefs have to ask themselves and what will drive Berry being on the team next year.
