Chase spent years on good New Orleans teams and to his immense credit has mad a niche for himself as an excellent and valued backup but one with little consideration to turn into a starter.

Blaine has been a backup that could turn into a starter for mostly pretty bad teams. He has had a better NFL career with shortcomings due to his own flaws (overconfidence in his arm is still unfortunately common, and early on some real uneasiness in the pocket) and the poor team situations.
