better term, there is currently an epidemic of hate crimes in the US that the media is failing to cover. Somehow their failure to cover these real hate crimes has caused them to cover multiple hoaxes? Does that even make sense to you?

If there is truly an actual increase in hate crimes shouldn’t it be pretty easy for them to find real hate crimes to focus their attention on instead of constantly getting burned by the hoaxes.

Or let’s go with Occam’s Razor here. There are not really a significant number of hate crimes but that does not fit the political agenda of the left so every time one is reported they run with it because the news has become more agenda driven than fact driven.

If there is an increase in hate crimes today most are committed by minorities and usually against other minotities. Covering those does not advance a political agenda so they are often ignored.
