Out of the multitude of Hispanic names announced at my daughter's hs graduation I never met any of those kids in a wide range of school activities. I never met their parents when I was busting my ass for PTA, fund-raising for project graduation, attending the post-graduation lock-in as a volunteer chaperone, or participating in the numerous Father's Club activities supporting the school through various campus enhancement projects and cleanups.

They are phantom people who are non-participants in any semblance of community involvement.
