WOW...1619....just why the heck do we get so worked up about something that happened 400yrs ago? Slavery has been apart of human culture for as long as we have kept records and if something catastrophic accord to put us back into the stone age it would be back in vogue again.
Is slavery disgusting,dirty and nasty? Yep we all find it horrible. But I'm not going to set back and judge the culture of anyone from 400yrs ago. Or even from the 1800's different time,different beliefs and a different mind set.
We have moved forward and at this time there are Zero slaves in America. So we as a country need to move forward and recognize the past and say never again but we can't keep the wound open.
