You don't need a tattoo.
You may like it for a while, but soon you'll find something that's so much better and more important that whatever you thought was important when you got the tattoo, and now you've got a tattoo.
I'm not saying they're not important, just saying that it's a monument to how important you thought something was at the time and the real monument is what you learned and who you are at the moment you look at the tattoo and realize it was stupid.
If you never look at the permanent tattoo to whatever was important at the time and feel like it's not as important then as it was at the time, that's the real issue. Life is about progress.
