being separated from their parents is far more common in circumstances other than when families are apprehended entering the country illegally.
The implication seemed to be that the political response was inconsistent & perhaps incoherent in that on one was protesting the other, far more common separations.
Your reply was that the jail/prison separations "could be resolved pretty easily".
I didn't see how & asked you to explain.
