contributed to this county, and I admire immigrants who have come here legally and worked hard to contribute to their families and our country.

I don’t admire immigtants simply for being immigrants. There is nothing inherently noble about being an immigrant, a man, a woman, a black person, gay, straight, etc. What you elect to do as any of those groups is what warrants admiration.
