What time frame were they not "consistently open?" After

AO went out or in general? He and the slot guys didn't seem to have an issue getting open. Scott and Knox did a good job as true FR stretching the field.

Bottom line is Lock was much better with Dooley and like you said, must sit behind an established starter. If Gruden takes him and they dump Carr, Lock is fvcked. Similarly if Denver takes him and he's inserted as the starter, how is that really different than Denver picking Lynch and throwing him to the wolves? In either scenario and as a Chiefs fan, if Lock was a ku grad, I'd relish him being picked by LV or DEN. As a Mizzou fan, I'd hate to see him get ruined by going to either team and forced into starting early on.
