Might as well group people who are short and come from short families in a different race than those who are tall and come from tall families.

People of above average intelligence tend to marry and reproduce with others who are above average. Likewise those below average tend to reproduce with those below average.

Might as well divide race based on intelligence.

The Human Genome Project discovered there are no clear genetic boundaries to divide people into racial groups.
