Dude's a vet so whatever happened is, fabricated or not, 10x as egregious; even though Libs traditionally don't give two ****s about the military, but they're suddenly straight in bed with the Reagan Bush Neocons, trying so hard to rekindle the phony Cold War.
So the Pubs, who are the traditional bloodthirsty warmongers around these parts, get their panties all in a wad on the defensive and scramble to establish that dude is a fake military guy, or was in the military but some inconsequential grunt, or otherwise something less than a true American hero; to try to prove he's a just another standard dirtbag.
It's a blast to watch.
