I actually think Odom has done a good job of this at MU. He's beefed up the lines and we're more capable of playing power football on both sides of the ball. We don't need elite pass defense, because the east doesn't have great passing opponents.

The pass happy, build on speed stuff of the Big 12 can beat the SEC in individual game situations, but would wear down over the course of a season playing bigger and harder hitting teams.
