I didn't see the action before that sequence, but I'd bet

The farm, it went like this.

The defender was holding and pushing on Tilmon.
Tilmon pushed to get space.
The ref talked to the two of them, focusing his instructions to back off on JT.
JT decided, if the ref isnt going to get him off of me, I'll get his ass off of me myself.
JT plowed him, and it was a legit foul.

I've done that before myself. When a ref won't get a guy off of you, it is sometimes worth the foul to knock the crap out of him and make him think twice about getting up on you again.

The technical was bull**** and less JT said something that could be heard on TV.
