Last 10 fouls on Tilmon.
I’ve attended both games and this particular referee does not like JT and the feeling is mutual. I hope JT can grow and learn from this, but in both games he has directed bad body language and talked some smack to said ref and, not surprisingly, it has not helped matters.
Refereees should not hold grudges, but they are human, and they do. I believe they also favor players they develop relationships with and like. Tilmon needs to begin taking this approach. Be nice! All the time. Win them over in time.
His game has totally reversed the last couple games because of this. Clearly, he is fouling too much but also he is not getting the benefit of the doubt and worse, he is often ridiculously taking a hands off approach - in attempt to not fouling - and on those plays, he’s literally not playing defense,
