some random fishing stop or sobriety checkpoint. Most draw attention to themselves by doing something stupid like crossing the centerline, driving with headlights off, or remaining stopped at a green light.
My favorites were finding a former Royals player passed out with his foot on the brake, car in drive, and sitting in the front yard of a residence (corner lot), having a guy formerly southbound in the northbound lanes of I-35 who managed to get back into the southbound lanes but had lost a tire and was shooting out a 7' rooster tail of sparks from his RR rim, and the middle eastern student at Mizzou who managed to kill himself in his TransAm at a high rate of speed--they found his windshield 300' from the point of impact. His blood had drained out of his system so the best they could do was scoop blood out of his abdomen to determine his BAC. It was waaaaay over the legal limit.
