and became a GI. 2 yrs vs 6 yrs 4 mos

By the time I got out the war was so unpopular only people who supported you as we said were friends and family. Hell by end of 73 the draft was over. I don't blame Clinton or Trump or anyone for avoiding it frankly

As Bob Hope said at his Christmas Show in 1972 he was doing it for the leftovers and that is how we felt.
