The reason the top 10 ranking blue bloods win it every year is that they have SO much depth with top rated talent in the 2-3 deep. They can weather injuries and unproductive Glamour star guys easier who don't cut muster.

The rest of the teams have such a razor thin margin compared to them that any injury, unproductive 4* guy is a bigger issue because next up usually isn't much beyond serviceable.
