We would either get out and go to their room and stay with them a second, or, we have a patio furniture cushion under our bed. If they don't want to be in their room, they can grab a blanket and sleep on that on our floor.

It's not that we are being mean, we just know the slippery slope letting THEM (DAMMIT!!!!) come into your bed is. And I'm pretty sure our kids have no idea that sleeping in our bed was even possible.
