Taxable Event?

I would imagine the owner has to treat that as income paid. Only downside I can see is that you may not expect it, but an All-Inclusive vacation for a family can run $10,000-$20,000, and would not have taxes withheld on the value of the gift. Might be writing a check in April, but no argument, this sounds like a great company.
