The defense to me is a matter of some young players getting used to playing at a high division 1 level. The defensive backfield and line really improved through the season as some new and young talented players progressed.
I hope Andy stays and continues focusing on special teams. We had some mishaps no doubt, but some mistakes were just an individual breakdown. The Kentucky punt return was a matter of Fatoney out kicking the coverage. That happens to even the best of teams, but he’ll learn from that. Stay the course with Andy, he’s going to get it figured out.
