the talent (thanks Mr. & Mrs. Porter) which was added to the first year roster.

Bottom line is MS was given 18 starts on one of the worst Illinois rosters (talent wise) in decades and he turned in the 11th worst ORTG of all P5 players last year.

He had every opportunity and he struggled more than any freshman in my memory at Illinois.
