Claire has been portrayed as some kind of elitist.

She was born in Rolla, moved around Missouri ending up in COMO attending Hickman HS, went on to get an ungrad and grad degree at Mizzou.

Hawley was from Lexington but apparently a rural HS wasn't good enough for him so he went to a private school in KC (Rockhurst). Went on to college at Stanford, then moved to London for awhile while ending up going to Yale law school.

So who is the elitist?

It would appear to me that Hawley doesn't think Missouri is good enough for him.
