like Kentucky at that level. They just had more talent. I don't see how anyone who watched us play for 3 years under him could think he was anything other than average as an X's & O's coach. He was a terrible recruiter and an average coach. That's why we finished last every year. If he was an above average coach then we would have won more than 8 SEC games in 54 total games by out-scheming other coaches.
And the idea that because he wasn't a great X's & O's coach somehow means Norm wasn't is dumb. Just because Norm taught him doesn't mean he should be anywhere near as good at as Norm.
