And it's not only the cash they're after.
A lot of smaller jurisdictions (specifically on the ks side of state line, locally) are filing vehicle forfeitures immediately after traffic stops....many times for very small amounts of narcotics.
That sh1t was not the intended purpose of that law. Or maybe it was...

Complete BS abuse of the law.
