It is ok in my opinion for trump to say good things about the haircut. How he looks forward to working with him, how he's a good guy.... The usual diplomatic lies and BS.

That is all part of the negotiation. We cannot expect trump to say, "Well, that lying little snit with the goofy haircut is nothing but a lying sack of communist excrement, but we'll see if he can live up to this."

But you are correct, his statement of the demise of the nuclear threat was grandstanding, self aggrandizing, premature and dumb.
