I wanted both kids to slow it down and live their young lives, that MU collegiate experience would serve them well for years. Mike pushed it and we will have to see how that pans out. Jontay followed what i thought he should have done, spend some time developing at this level. I think Mike would have been better off with a full year in college too. I was critical of others - and this was consistent thingking these young kids should grab cash, enter the NBA grind NOW. Will I enjoy Jontay as a Tiger, damned right I will. Turns out my ties to Tiger roundball got back to Stipo and Sunny - a bit longer than my tie to the Porter boys. But I think kids are kids once and ought to take advantage. Jontay's following the course that considered best WILL wind up with him better off in the draft as well. Again, I wish Mike had done it too.
