be a lot of misinformation on this board about what happens when an individual goes on a vegan diet. (disclaimer, I am NOT a vegan)
First, there are several potential nutritional deficiencies that need to be addressed (B12, iron, zinc, calcium, iodine, vitamin D, and some long chain fatty acids), but the one thing that is NOT adversely affected is testosterone, quite the opposite. Testosterone levels have actually been shown to be slightly higher in individuals on a vegan diet compared to those who eat meat.... not to mention lower levels of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancers..
Now all diets come with their pros and cons and nutritional outcomes are very much individual specific, but anyone claiming that MPj being a vegan is in anyway associated with his injuries or injury recovery is a MORAN.
